What are SECCA's grant administration services?

• SECCA consultants:

  • Prepare detailed, program-supporting federal and state grant budgets.

  • Prepare and review program expenditures (TEA Expenditure Reports) as requested.

  • Prepare program evaluations.

  • Provide constant direct communication and assistance as needed.

  • Prepare and submit all grant applications and amendments.

  • Provide guidance on the propriety of district expenditure of grant funds in compliance with regulations.

  • Advise on the coordination of all grants to ensure maximum benefit from all grant resources.

 

• For state grants, we prepare descriptions of programs and services, as well as program evaluations.

 

• With input from district and campus administrators, we can advise on the integration of all budget information into the District and Campus Improvement Plans which reflect the specific needs of the district and outline the activities that will meet those needs.

Every school district must comply with a complex array of restrictions and regulations regarding the nature, timing, and reporting of federal and state grant expenditures. In addition, each grant has specific budgeting, reporting, and compliance requirements that must be adhered to in order to preserve continuation of funding. You can be confident that SECCA keeps current on new and existing regulations and requirements.

What will it cost our district to hire SECCA?

A lot depends on the service needs of the school district, but typically it is a very small percentage of each grant for which we are contracted. Please call us to discuss any additional questions you have about our fees and request an estimate.
